Visitors left stranded upside down after ride stops mid-air; scary visual caught on cam
A horrifying moment was caught on camera at an amusement park in the US, Pennsylvania where visitors were left stranded upside down earlier this week.
The incident took place on Monday when the Aero 360 ride at Kennywood Park in western Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh malfunctioned mid-air and stopped working.
“I think that's really scary because just being stuck upside down for a couple of minutes, it wouldn't even feel great," Lyla Brunner, a park-goer, told CBS. “I probably won't ride it ever.”

Maintenance staff immediately came to rescue the riders and brought the ride back to its designated position, Kennywood General Manager Mark Pauls said in a statement.
In-house medical staff evacuated the riders and three of them were sent to the First Aid centre as a precaution.

According to Kennywood’s official website, the giant pendulum describes as an intense ride.
“With legs dangling, riders swing back and forth attached to a familiar yellow symbol—the Kennywood Arrow! The arrows swing higher and higher with each pendulum motion, culminating in a 360-degree over-the-top experience,” the website described the Aero 360 ride.
Due to the incident, the ride remained closed on Tuesday while the incident was investigated. However, Kennywood staff tried to find out the exact reason behind the malfunction.
