Terrifying: Watch decapitated snake bites own body

It is said that the snake is dangerous even if it is dead, and the horrifying video of a headless serpent is proof of it.

In the clip, a copperhead snake can be seen decapitated (for unknown reasons), and its body still has life. The snake's body moves near its decapitated head and brushes it. Suddenly, the reptile's head gets triggered into attack mode and bites its body, presumably mistaking it for its attacker. The decapitated head can be seen opening its mouth and biting its own body while not even attached. The body convulses after the bite, and the video ends.

Copperhead snake is a venomous pit viper species found in North America. They are known for their distinctive copper-colored head and light brown hourglass patterns on their body. They prefer to live in wooded areas and are mostly active at night. Copperhead bites are rarely fatal but can cause significant pain and swelling.

Since being shared the clip is terrifying the netizens and has accumulated over 16.3 million views and more than 1,40,000 likes. The Twitter users relate the clip with them when they accidently hurt themselves.
