Shocker: UP school principal hangs student upside down from building; arrested after pic goes viral
A shocking incident has been reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur where a private school principal dangled a child upside down from the first floor of the school. The picture of the principal hanging child from a school building has gone viral on social media.
In a bid to give punishment, the principal committed this crime. According to the IANS report, the incident took place in the Sadbhavna Shikshan Sansthan Junior High School in Ahraura, on Thursday.
The accused principal identified as Manoj Vishwakarma who punished a Class 2 student for being naughty while eating food. After getting angry, the accused principal grabbed the child by one of his legs and hung him from the first floor of the school building to teach him a lesson.

In the viral pic, Vishwakarma can be seen hanging the child while other students are watching the incident. The school principal pulled up the child only after he screamed and begged not to repeat the mistake in the future.
After the incident came to light, the school principal got arrested and has been booked under sections of the Juvenile Justice Act, according to the NDTV report.
According to Sonu’s father Ranjit Yadav, his son had gone to eat gol gappa with other students and they were being a little naughty. In a fit of rage, Manoj Vishwakarma gave strict and dangerous punishment to his son.
However, the accused principal told that Sonu’s father had asked them to correct his son.
He further told that Sonu is very mischievous and he also bites children, teachers. The principal also said that Sonu’s father asked them to correct him, therefore, he tried to scare him by giving this punishment.
