The Reticulated Python ranks as one of the largest and heaviest snakes globally. In a captivating video shared by Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda on X (formerly Twitter), this remarkable snake can be seen scaling a wall in pursuit of its prey.

This species is renowned for its powerful constriction method, which wraps around its prey, tightening its grip until it suffocates.

Massive Size and Power of the Reticulated Python
The Reticulated Python stands out as one of the longest snakes, with some individuals reaching lengths of up to 33 feet and weighing as much as 165 pounds. These snakes possess immense strength.

According to Nanda's post, the python’s squeezing force is around 14 PSI, which is sufficient to injure a human fatally.

Hunting and Diet
A skilled climber, the Reticulated Python uses its agility to target prey such as birds, mammals, and reptiles. Once it captures its prey, it constricts it until suffocation occurs, then swallows it whole. Its jaws can stretch wide enough to consume large animals with ease.
