Raksha Bandhan is a festival of the love bond of brother and sister. On this day, a sister ties Raksha sutra or rakhi on the wrist of her brother. This year, the festival was celebrated on August 22. Several photos and videos of the celebrations have surfaced on the Internet which brings a smile to the face of many. However, in one such shocking incident that has left everyone in shock on social media.
In the video, a man can be seen trying to tie rakhi to a pair of snakes. What happened next with the man has turned celebrations into mourning.
The man named Manmohar was helping his sisters to tie rakhi to a pair of snakes but one of the snakes bit him.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
In the viral clip, a 25-year-old man can be seen holding the snakes and trying to tie a rakhi.
He was allegedly a snake charmer, was bit by one of the snakes. After the incident, he was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead, ABP Live report said.

The viral video shows people were standing around Manmohan as they were watching him to tie rakhi on two snakes. He was bit by one of the snakes when he was trying to put ‘tika’ on one of the snakes. The other snake crawled towards him and bit his foot. After the incident, the man resumed his activities but was later taken to a hospital where doctors declared brought dead.
The now-deceased man used to catch snakes and also treat their wounds for over a decade, reports claimed. He even treats people in the village who suffered from snake bites.
