Indian wildlife photographer shares the rare photo of black panther and leopard couple; pic goes viral
The Internet is full of rare and bizarre things that have left all us stunned. Now, the latest addition added to the list of unique things by a wildlife photographer who caught the unique couple in his camera.
Mithun H, the wildlife photographer has tried to capture an elusive couple of India’s Kabini forest.
The astonishing video showed the photo of a leopard and its black panther ‘shadow’. He said that it took 6 days to get this amazing shot.
According to the photographer post, he captured this rare scene while shooting in the Kabini Forest Reserve in Karnataka during Winter. He also added that ‘a single Deer alarm led me to this breathtaking sight.'
'Saaya and Cleopatra have been courting since 4 years now and whenever they are together it’s a sight to behold,' Mithun writes about the photo. He gave the title to the photo as ‘The Eternal Couple’
“The forest comes alive as they trot nonchalantly in his fabled kingdom. Usually in the courting pairs generally it is the Male who takes charge and moves around with the female following close behind. But with this couple, it was definitely Cleo who was in charge while the Panther followed,” his post caption reads.
Mithun H is the renowned wildlife photographer and has worked with the National Geographic on the documentary The Real Black Panther which features the story of Saya.
Meanwhile, his photos have been doing the rounds on social media and garnered thousands of likes.
