Husband asks police to put him in jail for a bizarre reason!

In a strange incident, a man requested Italy police to put him behind bars after getting announced by his wife.

In a bid to escape his wife, the man makes this bizarre request from the police.

Reportedly, the 30-year-old man, who is an Albanian citizen approached the local police barracks and urged them to put him in jail and punish him.

According to Captain Francesco Giacomo Ferrante of the Tivoli Carabinieri, the man had been under house arrest for crimes related to drugs and he had few more years left to serve his punishment.

"He lived at home with his wife and family. It wasn't going well anymore," Ferrante said.

The man cited that he is unable to bear the domestic differences anymore and hence, wants to serve his punishment in jail.

"He said, 'Listen, my domestic life has become hell, I can't do it anymore, I want to go to jail."

After being frustrated from his wife, the man asked Carabinieri to serve his sentence behind bars, Captain Francesco Giacomo Ferrante of the Tivoli Carabinieri reported.

After receiving the man’s spontaneous requests, the police later charged him for violating the house arrest rule. Later, the judicial authorities asked the police to transfer the man to jail.
