18-year-old girl dies after brushing her teeth; reason will shock you!
In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old girl died on Sunday after brushing her teeth. The bizarre incident took place in Mumbai’s Dharavi around 10 pm on September 3.
The now-deceased identified as Afsana Khan. According to media reports, she accidentally brushed her teeth with rat poison instead of toothpaste.
After realizing the difference in the smell and taste of the paste, she immediately spits out and rinsed her mouth. However, she felt fine and went for her usual work routine. After some time, she got dizzy as she felt severe stomach aches. Initially, she didn’t tell her family about her toothpaste incident as she was scared that her family will scold her.
When she got no respite, she was taken to at least three private and public hospitals. As her health got deteriorated, she finally told her family members about her blunder, and then she was admitted to Sir JJ Hospital for treatment on September 12.

Despite all attempts to save her life, the 18-year-old girl took her last on the same evening. Her death gave a huge shock to her family comprising her parents, an elder sister, and two younger brothers.
Her medical report revealed that she died due to poisoning and the Dharavi Police Station has also collected samples for forensic analysis.
The cops also recorded the statement of the family members and have registered an accidental death report.
Meanwhile, a further investigation is underway, a police official said.
