His tweet on Tuesday came after Trump shared a report from "Fox & Friends" that said the White House "calls out Senate Democrats for obstructing nominees."
Democrats countered that the administration has only itself to blame for the slow pace of filling vacancies.
Trump has failed to fill hundreds of vacant jobs. As Congress is scheduled to leave for August recess further delaying Trump's administration appointments.
Trump also retweeted a video of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who urged the Senate on Tuesday morning to stay in D.C. until more work can get done. Trump's agenda of healthcare, tax, and infrastructure reforms remain unfinished.
