External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who is currently on a visit to Bangladesh inaugurated a new chancery complex of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
She used the occasion to once again emphasize the deep bilateral ties between the two countries.
Swaraj said, " Bangladesh comes first in India's Neighbour First policy."
She said, "There exist a couple of issues which are yet unresolved between us (India-Afghanistan), but we assure that both are attempting to solve them with honesty."
Swaraj also inaugurated 15 development projects in Bangladesh which are being funded by the Government of India.
Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Health Minister Mohammed Nasim, Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan were also present on the occasion.
Swaraj will wrap up her two-day Bangladesh visit today.
Swaraj last visited the country in 2014.
