Saudi Arabia has intercepted a ballistic missile fired by Yemen's armed Houthi group.
Local media on Thursday said the missile fired from Yemen was heading towards the south-western city of Khamis Mushait. Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson for a Saudi-led coalition fighting against Shi'ite Yemeni rebels, said Huthi rebels in Yemen has control of ballistic missiles adding that they are a threat to international and regional security.
Yemen targetted Saudi Arabia for the second time with a ballistic missile this month. The earlier missile was brought down near King Khaled Airport, it said.
