Prince Harry-Meghan Markle statues separated from royal family in Madame Tussauds; netizens say ‘very foolish decision’
It has been a crisis in the Royal family after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell decision to quit the royal family. Now, another controversy sparked after Madame Tussauds in London separated their wax statues from a display that featured with the other members of the British royal family.
The information about the removal statues of Harry and Meghan has been shared on the official Twitter handle of Madame Tussauds with a caption, “We’ve got to respect their wishes”.

Notably, the statues of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were placed next to the statue of Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Madame Tussauds is the famous world museum which has replicas of famous celebrities & historic icons in themed galleries. Over 250 wax models of celebrities are displayed in the museum, including the figures of royal family i.e. Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Prince William and his wife Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“Alongside the rest of the world, we are reacting to the surprising news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be stepping back as senior Royals,” said general manager Steve Davies.
He also added, “As two of our most popular and well-loved figures, they will, of course, remain an important feature at Madame Tussauds London as we watch to see what the next chapter holds for them.”
Meanwhile, the decision of the museum created a stir on social media. Netizens are slamming Madame Tussauds for separating the statues of the two from the royal family.

Why wasn't Prince Philip removed when he retired from public duties? He is no longer seen in public, if you are removing the Sussexes for their desire for a bit more privacy, I think you should do the same for the retired prince. But I guess that wouldn't be white of you.
