A killer nicknamed ‘Ghost’ has been jailed for at least 35 years after he murdered an electrician for his £7,000 Rolex. He killed the man in front of his girlfriend.

Danny Pearce (31), was knifed and shot at while walking home with Stephanie Holland after a night out at Oliver’s Jazz Club in Greenwich, southeast London, mirror.co.uk.

David Egan, 24, and Jordan Bailey-Mascoll, 26, stabbed Pearce when he refused to hand over his luxury timepiece on July 15, 2017.

Danny’s sister Amanda said in her statement to the court, “Danny left behind his living family friend girlfriend, and most importantly his daughter. They say that time's a healer, not in our case. Life really does seem to be getting harder. We have gone through shock, pain, and heartache, and prayed so hard that he could just come back. He had a long life in front of him, his plans, dreams. He was a lover of life.”

She further said that “David Egan has committed the most evil of crimes and we will live with this forever.”

"At the moment Danny passed, he took a piece of us all with him."

According to mirror.co.uk reports, Bailey-Mascoll was jailed for life with a minimum of 35 years in 2018 after he was convicted of murdering Mr Pearce by a jury at Woolwich Crown Court.

During the first trial, the accused had refused to name his accomplice but the other killer was nicknamed ‘Ghost’.

As per reports, David Egan remained at large and was finally charged with murder, robbery, and weapons offences in May this year.

Meanwhile, Egan has been jailed for life on Monday and must serve a minimum term of 35 years before he can be considered for release by the parole board.
