On the second day of his visit to Israel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President of Israel Reuven Rivlin and said that there stands 'I is for I' India for Israel and 'I' with 'I' is India with Israel and on the other hand Indians feel that 'Israel' means 'Israel is a real friend of India' .
Expressing the unique kind of friendship and link between the two countries, Modi said "B2B phrases are being used when we talk of trade and commerce but when I see in reality today I say stands 'I is for I' India for Israel and 'I' with 'I' is India with Israel and on the other hand Indians feel that 'Israel' means 'Israel is a real friend of India".
Overwhelmed by the gesture of Israel's President who broke the protocol to welcome Modi, Prime Minister Modi said he "The President of Israel welcomed me so warmly, he broke the protocol to receive me and this is a mark of respect for the entire 1.25 billion population of Indian country .This is the love of you for my country, I specially thank and express my gratitude to that "
Responding to President Revlin's warm welcome note, Modi said that he was overwhelmed by the incredibly warm welcome and love that he received in Israel, adding "In Israel I feel at home and the warmth emanated by everyone whom I have met here".
"It is a privilege to meet President Rivlin again today. I fondly recall his visit to India last November when he charmed us with his affable manner and desire to do more with India," Modi wrote in the guest book at the President's residence.
Modi recalled that President Rivlin's pharse 'Make with India' is echoed in Israel and I have seen everywhere I went that it has percolated to all levels.
Rivlin said that India and Israel will turn out to be great allies and their cooperation will only deepen on various fronts.
