Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar has been designated as a global terrorist by the UN Security Council on Monday, in a big diplomatic win for India. China, which had blocked Masood Azhar's ban for four times, has finally lifted the block from India way to ban Jaish chief.

The Government ssources said "Jaish-e-Mohammed Chief Masood Azhar was put under house arrest at Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, post Balakot Attack and has been recently shifted to a safe house in Islamabad," reports ANI.
“Azhar is expected to be listed this evening by the UNSC sanctions committee,” The Express Tribune quoted a senior official as saying.
