India's Rohan Bopanna has entered the mixed doubles quarterfinals of the Australian Open with his Hungarian partner Timea Babos on Tuesday.
The Indo-Hungarian pair registered a straight-sets victory 6-4, 6-4 over USA's Vania King and Croatia's Franko Skugor.
The fifth-seeded pair of Bopanna and Babos will lock horns with the defending champions Juan Sebastian Cabal and Abigail Spears on Wednesday in the last eight.
Colombia's Cabal and USA's Spears defeated India's Sania Mirza and her Croatian partner Ivan Dodig last year in the finals.
