Australia bushfire: Spine-chilling image of charred baby kangaroo shows disturbing reality of the crisis

Australia is experiencing an out of the ordinary national crisis, the bush fire are shredding into and out of cities and rural areas. leaving millions of people and animals homeless and injured. According to the reports, since September, at least 20 people have died and over 1,500 are left homeless.

It is so serious that there is worry of entire species of plants and animal being annihilated by the crisis. Upto the present, nearly 500 million animals have perished, and if that dosen’t worry us , nothing will.


An Instagram account by the name the VetPaw posted this image and captioned it, 'This crisis is real. This little joey (baby kangaroo) caught in the fence trying to escape the fires in Australia, tells the story to the world.'

VetPaw on Instagram, 'We need to focus on the preservation of ecosystems and the wildlife contained therein...... we may not realize it but this is pushing the human race towards extinction'.

As per reports, farmers are being asked to take pictures of their dead and injured livestock for insurance claims. Besides this, landowners are having to euthanize many heat stressed animals which endured the fire.

“The fires have burned so hot and so fast that there has been significant mortality of animals in the trees, but there is such a big area now that is still on fire and still burning that we will probably never find the bodies,” Nature Conservation Council ecologist Mark Graham told Reuters.

The bushfire in Australia are a living nightmare for those living in and around it, it’s filled with charred bodies of animals. As a matter of fact, Koalas are among the hardest hit, due to their slow moving nature.

As specified by reports, a stretch of fire is continuing to burn the eastern and southern coasts of Australia. This is where most of the people and animals dwell and thus far 15 million acres have burned.
