Actress Tina Fey slams Trump, advises Americans against alt-right rallies

Referring to the violent White supremacist rally that caused violence in Charlottesville earlier this week, American actress Elizabeth Stamatina "Tina" Fey, who graduated from the University of Virginia, said she was concerned about her alma mater.

"It broke my heart to see these evil forces descend upon Charlottesville," Fey said, in a programme 'Saturday Night Live Weekend Update'.

Tina blasted United States President Donald Trump for his comments on the "Unite the Right" Charlottesville rally last weekend and implored "good, sane Americans" to not take part in the upcoming alt-right rally, planned for this weekend.

There are nine more rallies planned across the United States including New York and Washington square this weekend after the violent White supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia last weekend.

Slamming Trump's statement on Charlottesville violence, Tina continued "And then our president, Donald John Trump, and I don't think enough people talk about what a stupid, jackass name that is. Whatever, he gets away with it because he's gorgeous. Donny John comes out and says that he condemns violence 'on many sides.' On many sides, Colin. And I'm feeling sick, 'cause you know, I've seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, and I wasn't confused by it. No, Colin, nazis are always bad."

For a possible alt-right rally in New York City's Washington Square Park this weekend, Fey said, "I hope they try it and get the ham salad kicked out of them by a bunch of drag queens."

Tina also had an advice for Americans: "Treat the rallies this weekend like the opening of a thoughtful movie with two female leads: Don't show up. Let these morons scream into the empty air. I love you Charlottesville, and as Thomas Jefferson once said, who's that hot light-skinned girl over by the butter churn?"

Fey also blasted the blame-all-sides Trump and mocked him, saying, "Who drove the car into the crowds?" she asked. "Hillary's emails?"

Tina also pointed to the fact: "There were independent militias at the Charlottesville rally and there are well armed 250 militias across America and are ready to mobilise at any - not cops, just militias that have trained themselves."

Even Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe on the day of violence, slammed the white supremacists and neo-Nazis right-wing groups in Charlottesville and asked all of them to go back home.

"You pretend to be patriots, you are not patriots. If you want to talk about them talk about George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, who brought our country together," he said.
