Tennis star Serena Williams turns into a fabulous singer and drops a new video to raise breast cancer awareness. A 23 times Grand Slam champion goes topless in the video of herself singing Australian rock classic 'I Touch Myself' while covering her sans cloth breast with her hands to promote breast cancer awareness.
Taking to Instagram the Tennis star said the video song is a part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month to honour "celebrated diva. It is also an honour to The Divinyls lead singer Chrissy Amphlett, who died from breast cancer in 2013. "I wanted to do it because it's an issue that affects all women of all colours, all around the world," she wrote while sharing the video on Instagram.
"Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it because it's an issue that affects all women of all colours, all around the world," Williams said.
Breast Cancer Network Australia in 2014 launched a project I Touch Myself first, following the death of Amphlett, at age 53, with fellow Australian singers Olivia Newton-John, Kate Ceberano and Sarah McLeod singing the song in a video to promote the early detection of breast cancer.
