India’s Neeraj Chopra created a history by winning the country’s first gold in javelin throw at the ongoing Asian Games at Jakarta in Palembang while Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem who won bronze medal in the same event.
Indian tennis star Sania Mirza retweeted a photo of Neeraj Chopra and Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem shaking hands during the medal ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games men's javelin throw.She was earlier attacked on social media for wishing Pakistan on their independence day.

In Asian Games, India have won 65 medals at the Asian Games till now, including 13 golds, 23 silvers and 29 bronzes and are ranked eighth in the overall table.
