Currently, Kapil Sharma is the king of television and the biggest superstar of comedy in India. Most of the film stars went to his show for the promotions of their films but it has come to light that Kapil himself wouldn't be able to promote his film. In a recent interview to a leading website, Kapil Sharma quoted, "Everyone promoted their films on my show. But now where will I go?"
Kapil Sharma is back to the town after rehabilitation and he has started the promotions of his upcoming movie Firangi. However, the biggest platform to promote any film on the television The Kapil Sharma Show is temporarily down. On the other hand, Kapil doesn't share such good relations with other channels that he could promote his film on other show.

On the matter, Kapil Sharma has clearly said that his film 'Firangi' won't be promoted in usual television shows and channels. Rajiv Dhingra, director of the film and close friend to Kapil Sharma, told a Bollywood website, "There is no need for Kapil to go from show to show. He is a household name on television. Firangi is not a comedy like his first feature film Kiss Kiss Ko Pyar Karoon was. It’s a light-hearted look at the pre-Freedom era, but not a comedy. We are opening on 24 November after the big Diwali releases have settled down."
