Famous comedian Kiku Sharda who essays the role of Baccha Yadav in an on-going Kapil Sharma’s show has landed up in legal controversy along with five others. Baccha Yadav who tickles our funny bones with his ‘jokes’ has been accused of fraud by an Art Director Nitin Kulkarni.
Nitin Kulkarni has filed a complaint against five people including Kiku and his father, for cheating him of Rs 50.70 lakhs from a charitable trust the Mumbai Fest. As per ABP reports Kulkarni was assigned to design a set for a 3-day fest that was held last year at the MMRDA grounds.
In the complaint, he has stated that the cheque given to him by the organisers bounced and when he raised his voice regarding this he was promised that they will give him the money, however, it been almost a year and they have yet not paid. Also, he never received a copy of the agreement between him and trust.

When asked Kiku about the same he denied it and said that he is not an active member and the trust was only formed for the welfare of the citizens. “I just attended the event as other celebrities did and I am not a member or a trustee of Mumbai Fest though my father is the secretary. My name has been dragged into this for no reason,” said Sharda.
