There is one topic that is trending all over the country and it is none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Padmaavat' that was earlier titled as 'Padmavati' but the name was changed after sugesstions given by the CBFC. The movie was released on January 25 and is doing well at the box office these days.
Since the day, the movie has started begun its shoot, problems have only risen for it. When the release date of the film cam close, the Karni Sena started their agitation against the film and its story and made it a mass agitation but the people of the film as well as the Televison industry stood strong infront of them.
One famous face from the television, Karan Patel, who plays the role of Raman in Star Plus's popular daily soap, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein also came out in the support of the film and took to his social media account to put forward his views on the matter.
Tweeting about the Padmaavat fiasco, he wrote on his twitter account that, "Hahahahahaha ... aaj phir se kuch logo ka Pichwada jal raha hai jab hamare desh ki buri sarkaar ka sach bahar nikal raha hai ....! chalo aankh wale andho, shuru ho jao apne comedy replies ke saath ...!"

He even wrote, "This is the harsh reality of our #incompetent #government .... that some people, under the pretext of protecting history & culture, can take the whole society for granted and create havoc because they know ki yeh #DeshSoRahaHai aur unhe koi kuch nahi kar sakta ...! #SadButTrue."

The movie was earlier getting banned in many states but the Supreme Court gave an order to release the film all over the country. Earlier the members of the Karni Sena threatened to behead Deepika Padukone.
