Not Shantanu Maheshwari, this actor to star in Pehredaar Piya Ki sequel

The Saath Nibhana Saathiya fame Rohit Suchanti is all set to play Ratan in the sequel of most controversial Television show Pehredaar Piya Ki. Mr. Suchanti is now finalised to romance the gorgeous actress of TV Tejasswi Prakash.

Earlier, there were rumours doing round on the internet that the heartthrob of Television and rumoured winner of the show Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8 Shantanu Maheshwari might be seen in the sequel.

When the news of Pehredaar Piya Ki has surfaced the makers of the show has promised to bring back the show with same cast and crew. However, in a new report by TellyChakkar.com the Krishndasi fame Siddharth Shivpuri is all set to play the parallel lead. The Television actress Swapnil Sharma is being replaced by Gauri Singh for playing the character of Priya.

For the first time in the history of Television, it has happened that a Television show has gained the attention of IB ministry due to its controversial script. There were a lot number of petition and mails sent to Information and Broadcasting ministry for shutting down the show. That's why the makers of Pehredaar Piya Ki was forced to shut down the show from Sony Entertainment Television.
