Mahabharat’s Bhishma Pitamah aka Mukesh Khanna has recently given a controversial remark over the Kapil Sharma show and also revealed why he didn’t appear in the reunion episode.
Taking to Instagram, Khanna slammed the television show for its vulgar and cheap content.
He even declared it the worst television show and said that the show has low quality of comedy where men dressing up as women to grab laugh from the audience.
However, Mukesh’s co-actor Gajendra has come out in the support of the Kapil Sharma Show.
He said that Mukesh is feeling salty about being left out from the reunion episode. Notably, Gajendra played Prince Yudhistir role in the 1990s show.
In an exclusive interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Gajendra said, “I think Mukeshji now finds grapes sour because he did not get to eat the grapes.” He slammed Khanna for calling the show ‘wahiyat’. The Yudhistir also said that the show has been number one and crores of people watch it.
Gajendra also recalled how Arjun had dressed up as a girl and danced in a scene, and asked should Khanna have left the show too? “Why did Mukeshji not leave Mahabharata at that time? I strongly condemn this behaviour of Mukeshji.”
However, Mukesh had said that his co-star Gufi Paintal had told him that they would be invited on the show after the cast of Ramayana was called. But he decided not to go. On this Gajendra said that Gufi is not a casting director of the show to invite anybody.
Gufi also said that what Mukesh said about Kapil’s show was wrong. While the channel did ask him to invite Mukesh, he said he wouldn’t go.
