TV actress Preksha Mehta took a drastic step by committing suicide at her Indore residence on Monday. The Crime Patrol actress hung herself from a ceiling fan as she was worried that she might not get work due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Before dying the 25-year-old actress dropped a cryptic post on her Instagram story which read, “Sabse bura hota hai sapno ka tut jana”.
During an investigation, police have found a one-page long suicide note which stated that the actress was in grave depression due to the crunch of work in entertainment industry owing to lockdown. As per TOI, the actress in her suicide wrote, “Mere toote huye sapno ne mere confidence ka dam tod diya hai, main mare huye sapnon ke saath nahi jee sakti. Iss negativity ke saath rehna mushkil hai. Pichle ek saal se maine bohot koshish ki. Ab mein thak gayi hoon”

As per Spotboye, actress’ cousin who lives nearby said that from past few days she was keeping quiet opposite to her personality. On Monday when the whole family were playing cards, Preksha was sitting on the steps of the house alone. On seeing this her mother approached her and asked if everything is okay to which she said everything is fine.
Her cousin further added that around 10 pm she went up to her room and posted a message on Instagram story. It was in the morning on Tuesday when her mother went up to wake her up for yoga, she found her room locked. She called for help to open the door and as soon as the door opened everyone was shocked to see Preksha hanging from the ceiling fan.
