Ishqbaaaz, one of Star Plus's popular show has geared up on the headlines from quite some after the reports of the lead actors of the show Anika aka Surbhi Chandna, Leenesh Mattoo, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh and Mansi Srivastava quitting the show came. The makers of the show decided to take a generation leap in the show in which it was decided that Nakuul Mehta who plays the character of Shivaay will carry on to play the role of Shivaansh who will be Shivaay and Anika’s son in the show and for the same, a leading lady was on a search.
There were a lot of names doing rounds on the internet about the same and one was that of Drashti Dhami who recently quit her show Silsile Badalte Rishton Ke. Everyone became excited about the same and wanted to see the sizzling chemistry between Nakuul and Drashti. But now it seems as if this will not happen because there are some other reports on the round that claim that she won’t be a part of the show. No, it won’t be Sanaya Irani but another new actress who would play the role in future.
An entertainment portal claimed that a new star in the industry Manjiri will be seen playing a role opposite Nakuul in the show. A source close to the portal said, “There are bright chances of Manjiri signing on the dotted lines. She is a promising actor and the best part is that she carries no baggage as she is a newcomer.”

After the news of Surbhi Chandna leaving the show came, her fans took to social media to protest against the channel and the maker Gul Khan and various hashtags of #EndIshqbaaaz and #NoSurbhiNoIshqbaaaz started trending later which Gul came out and announced the end of Ishqbaaaz’s journey in a video that was shared by the channel on social media.

Talking about Surbhi, after her exit she will next be seen in an exciting venture which is none other than comedian Sunil Grover’s upcoming show ‘Kanpur Wale Khurranas’in which she will play the role of Kunal Khemu’s girlfriend. The promo of The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 even came out today and got appreciation from the audience.
