Bhajan Samrat and Bigg Boss' former contestant Anup Jalota has been quarantined after he returned from London to Mumbai on Tuesday. The 66-year-old singer himself shared the piece of information on his official Twitter handle.
The singer has praised the medical care and arrangements made by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC in his tweet.
The former BB contestant was in Europe for a concert and has been quarantined after he landed in Mumbai. He has been quarantined in a hotel in Andheri.
In his post, he urged travelers to cooperate with authorities to help contain the pandemic.
He shared his photo along with a caption: “I am in awe with the Medical Care offered by BMC for passengers who are 60+. I was taken to Hotel Mirage as I landed MUM from LDN; a team of doctors was sent to attend me. I appeal each passenger landing here to cooperate and help in controlling the further spread #COVID-19”

After Jalota’s tweet Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray also responded:

Anup Jalota’s spokesperson said the singer is in isolation for two days, PTI reports said. "Anup Ji hasn't gone for coronavirus test. He is alright. He is in isolation for two days for formalities, because he has just arrived from Europe tour including the UK and Germany," his spokesperson said in a statement.
Even Bollywood veteran actor Dilil Kumar has also revealed in a tweet posted on Tuesday that he had self-quarantined himself as a precautionary measure.
He wrote, "I am under complete isolation and quarantine due to the #CoronavirusOutbreak. Saira has left nothing to chance, ensuring I do not catch any infection."
Meanwhile, in India, at least 131 people have been tested positived and three deaths have come to light.
