Akshay Kumar breaks down as sister drops emotional message on Superstar Singer 2
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be seen on the set of Superstar Singer 2 this week. He will be seen promoting his upcoming film Raksha Bandhan. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on 11th August. In the latest promo video from the singing show, the actor can be seen in tears listening to Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka from the film Hare Ram Hare Krishna.
The singing reality show will celebrate Raksha Bandhan special this weekend. The official Twitter handle of Sony put out the new promo clip from the show featuring Akshay Kumar. "Ek atoot dor mein bandhenge humaare #Supersingers aur hongi kuch zabardast performances! Dekhiye #RakshaBandhanSpecial #SuperstarSinger2 par, Sat-Sun raat 8 baje, sirf Sony par," read the caption.
In the promo clip, a participant dedicates a song to Akshay Kumar. As the little contestant sang the song, pictures and videos of Akshay celebrating Rakhi with his sister played on the screen. The actor got emotional seeing the visuals. He can be seen wiping his tears in the video.

Directed by Aanand L Rai, 'Raksha Bandhan' stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. The movie also features Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth who in the movie play Akshay’s sisters. The movie, written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon, revolves around the love, bonding and attachment between brother-sister. The film is jointly produced by Rai, Hiranandani and Zee Studios.
