Mi has been consistently coming up to the expectations of the Indian users. With its range of durable yet affordable mobile phones, Mi has consistently come up with the expectations of Indian customers. The recent sale response makes this argument even stronger.

But there has been a recent announcement that Mi Redmi devices will no more be eligible for free home delivery. The decision has been taken in view of the high demand of the device witnessed in the last few days in the Indian markets. There are reports that people are buying multiple devices and piling them up to sell at a later date at higher prices aided with guaranteed availability given the high demand of the phone.

Xiaomi has taken notice of the issue and has taken away the COD option as a precautionary measure to stop this from happening any further. The sale on March 7 will not have an option of cash on delivery. According to the company, they sold 3 lakh units in three minutes in the first sale on February 22. The consecutive sales have witnessed a similar outcome. Xiaomi's Mi TV 4 was sold out under 10 seconds in the first sale.

Many of the fans are already upset with the shortage of devices. Fans are taking their grievances to the social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been priced at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The 4GB/64GB variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will be sold at Rs 13,999, and the 6GB/64GB variant is available at Rs 16,999.

Both phones come with 18:9 FullHD+ screens measuring 5.99 inches. While the higher placed Redmi Note 5 Pro sports with a new processor and a dual camera setup.
