Xiaomi is all set to launch its next smartphone Redmi S2, but the company is sharing very fewer details about the handset. There are speculations that this new handset will be the cheapest of the handset of the Chinese tech giant. In a recent leak, the high-resolution pictures of the handset were spotted in the Czech Republic. And soon it could start selling there in offline stores.
According to the reports, the Czech publication Svetandroida has found the pictures of a pink colour variant of Redmi S2. Though this could be the Xiaomi cheapest handset it will closely look like Redmi Note 5 pro and with some features of Mi 6 X. This handset will have vertical dual camera setup with an aspect ratio of 18:9 along with fingerprint sensor on the backside.
Reports suggest that Redmi S2 will run on Android Oreo out of the box and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Alongside, this smartphone could have 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, expandable with micro SD card. This handset will have full HD display of 5.99 inches along with a dual camera on back side i.e. 12MP+5MP. Redmi S2 has power backup for 3080 mAh.
The company could display this handset in Prague along with Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. According to leaks, Xiaomi Redmi S2 could come in 3 variants i.e. 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
