EPFO has started a new service with UMANG app, it will allow users to check their passbook details and their EPF balance easily. The pension holders of EPFO can also avail this service now. The account holders have to log in to the app with their UAN no. And OTP to check their balance. And person holders need to submit their PPO no. and birth date to check the status of balance. After submitting the details pension holder will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. After submitting the OTP pension holders can see complete details of PPO account like name, dob, time of the last pension received.
Prime minister Narendra Modi launched the UMANG app, this single app provides service to more than 100 different government departments. This app has been designed by Ministry of electronics and information technology and e-governance. This app supports the both Android and iOS platform. This app provides service to many central, state, and local government agencies UMANG app also contains the services of Digital India.
This offers all the major government service at a single place that currently working on App, Web, SMS and IVR. If we talk about the e-governance this app is helpful for filling tax and booking your LPG cylinder etc.. Apart from it. UMANG app also provides service to check the CBSE result on its platform. This supports the Hindi and English language along with more than 10 Indian languages. It also has transaction related payment options.
