Mercedes Benz India launched a new E-class in India, AMG E63 S 4matic+. This new E- class will be selling at the price of Rs 1.5 crore. The company launched this fourth model in this after GLS Gran edition, S-class facelift, Maybach S650. The company has made the claims that this car can reach 0 to 100kmph in just 3.4 seconds and this model is the top class model in the series.
The claimed speed makes the AMG E63 S 4matic+ faster in comparison to the AMG GT R, it was also recently launched. At present M5 is the only competitive model against the AMG E63 S 4matic+. If we talk about its design, it has retained the look of standard class. The company has studded this model with new AMG Panamericana radiator grill and exhaust setup at the back. The notable feature is the matte black AMG 20-inch alloy wheels.
AMG E63 S 4matic+ has the AMG twin turbo V8 engine with 4.0-litre capacity. This engine is capable to produce 603bhp and produce 850Nmof peak torque. The highest speed of AMG E63 S 4matic+ is 249 kmph but with AMG driver’s package can take it to 300 kmph. It has all-wheel AMG performance 4MATIC+ drive system along with nine-speed AMG speedshift with the dual-clutch transmission.
To add the adventure company has given a drift mode in AMG E63 S 4matic+ and it controlled by coupling the rear axle to the front axle.
