Jio has come up with its latest complimentary data offer to its users. The add-on comes close on the heels of the Jio IPL 2018 pack that was launched earlier this year and offered the users with 2GB of 4G data per day at Rs 251 for 28 days. Jio is offering a total of 8 GB data to be used for a period of 4 days for free. The add-on value will be available until May 29th.
The new Jio Cricket Pack worth Rs 101 is available to select Jio users as a free add-on, which can be seen under the My plans section in the MyJio app. The plan offers 2 GB of daily data for a period of 28 days. However, it does not come up with any calling benefits.
Jio has not prescribed any set procedure to avail this special pack and it is rolling to apparently selected users in a random way. While Jio has named the plan linked to cricket the data can be used for any purpose such as browsing, downloading content, Video calling etc.
Jio had launched the IPL pack worth Rs 251 to engage more users in its Jio TV streaming services. BSNL and Airtel also came up with the Live cricket streaming service in order to reap the benefits from the ongoing IPL season. With the IPL season coming to its conclusion, the final will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the excitement around the tournament is at its epitome.
