In what may turn out to be a major shock for the iPhone X users, the device is apparently loses touch functionality in cold weather conditions.
“It appears the ‘coldgate’ problem with iPhone X was happening at temperatures close to zero degrees but still within the recommended temperature range,” 9to5Mac reported late on Thursday.
Numerous users came forward and complained about the screen and said that screen is not working in cold temperature.
“In certain conditions, the iPhone X will temporarily be unable to respond to user input if the temperature of the surrounding environment suddenly dropped,” the report quoted Apple as saying.
The Cupertino-based mammoth has now said that they are planning to roll out a software update to fix this bug.
The iPhone X with 256 GB memory is valued Rs 1,02,000 and a similar mobile phone with 64GB memory was priced at Rs 89,000.
