Here's how PM Narendra Modi beats US Prez Donald Trump on Facebook and becomes the most popular word leader on social media

Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi has topped the list of most popular leaders in the world on Facebook. He left many well known Global leaders behind such as president of United States of America, Donald Trump to climb the first position in the list of the most popular leader on the social media platform. According to a new research, more than 4.32 crores people follow the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media websites. Donal Trump secured second place in the research with 2.31 crore followers. This research has been done by a firm named as Burson-Martsteller.

The officials of research firm said in a statement that “ All the data has been collected from January 2017, we researched 650 Facebook pages of National heads, Ruling Party leaders and Foreign Ministers of different countries”. Research firm took the help of Facebook tool Crowdtangle to conduct the research.

Though, Donald trump Facebook page has been listed as the most interactive page as it noted the most number of comments on its posts compare to any other global leader. Donal Trump received more than 20.49 crore likes, share and comments on his Facebook posts, whereas Mr Modi received 11.36 crore.

Modi, 67, has always encouraged social media to interact with common people. He has been very active on all the social media platform. However, he has been criticised much time on Facebook and Twitter. According to the research, more than 175 countries from 193 member countries of United nation runs the official page of their Facebook leader.
