BSNL vs Reliance Jio: Unlimited voice calling plan of Rs 39, new broadband plans against Jio’s free 1100GB data plan and much more

The Government Telecom company BSNL launched its new unlimited voice calling plan in Rs 39, this plan will be eligible for local and STD voice calling both, offer will be extended on roaming calls too. BSNL is now developing its future strategy by keeping Reliance Jio in mind. Recently Jio announced its ‘Jio Fibre’ service with the plan to give 1.1TB free data with highspeed data limit of 100mbps. BSNL is focusing on to prepare itself for coming battle. The Government telco also launched its revised broadband plan, a few days ago. In the new plans, BSNL has revised the FUP limit and made it double. However, the broadband plan has been only released for Kerala circle at present. There is no official information to release it across the country.

BSNL 39 rupees plan will be applicable in every region of the country except Mumbai and Delhi. This plan will have unlimited voice call along with daily free 100 SMSes and ringback tunes. This plan will not have any data service. The Director of BSNL. R.K. Mittal released the information of this special tariff voucher in a press conference. This new plan will have the validity of 10 days only.


If we talk about the recently revised BSNL broadband plan, these plans are of Rs 1,045, Rs 1,395 and Rs 1,895. According to a report, now these plans will give 100GB, 150GB and 200GB data respectively. This fibre plan can be availed at static IP address in Rs 2000. But currently, it is only available for Kerala and could be launched in another state soon. ‘

Jio broadband service plan is giving 1.1 TB data. The new plan will have 100 GB free data on 100 Mbps speed. After FUP limit customers will receive 40GB data every month in 25 top-ups which means it collectively gives 1,100GB data.
