Alwar: In a significant breakthrough in the Yasin murder case, the police have arrested another accused, taking the total number of arrested accused to two. The police are still searching for other accused involved in the crime.
According to Alwar SP, Anand Sharma, on July 11, Yasin Khan, a BJP worker, was attacked by a group of men traveling in a Scorpio and Thar on the Alwar-Jaipur highway. Khan succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The police had started investigating the case and had arrested one accused, Akramuddin alias Akram, on July 15. During interrogation, Akram revealed the involvement of another accused, Deepak Meena (25), son of Dharmachand Meena, a resident of Kila Mohalla, Ramgarh. The police have now arrested Meena.
The police have also recovered a Scorpio and an iron pipe used in the crime. The accused are being questioned intensively, and the police are conducting a thorough search for other accused involved in the crime.
In this connection, a report was filed by Jia-ul-Haq, son of Naseem Khan, a resident of Dehli Road, Moonsaka, stating that his uncle Yasin Khan had gone to Jaipur on July 11 with Advocate Jitendra Sharma and Pramendra Sharma. On their way back, their car was stopped near Vijaypura, Narayanpur, by a group of men traveling in a Scorpio and Thar, who attacked them with sticks, iron rods, and other weapons, injuring Yasin Khan seriously.
