MP Ganesh Singh meets Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

Satna: Local MP Ganesh Singh met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss various railway facilities in the region. He presented the minister with four letters highlighting the issues faced by passengers and demanded solutions.

The MP informed the minister that the first AC coach of the Rewa-Anand Vihar Express (12427) is very old and in poor condition. He also pointed out that when the engine direction is changed at Satna Junction, the first AC coach is shifted to the rear, causing inconvenience to passengers.

Singh demanded that the stoppages of the Mahakaushal Express, Gondia-Barauni Express, Rewa-Itwari Express, and Janata Express at Uchehra station, which were discontinued during the pandemic, be restored.

The MP also raised the issue of shifting the goods shed, which is causing traffic congestion in the city. He informed the minister that the proposal to develop the goods shed at Kaima Railway Station and Baretha Railway Station has been pending for a long time, and requested that the necessary approval be granted.

Furthermore, Singh demanded that the Rewa-Indore Express, Rewa-Itwari Express, Duranto Express, and Rewa-Rajkot Express be made regular, as a large number of patients travel to Mumbai, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, and Indore from Rewa.
