Dabra: The central government presented its budget yesterday in a move being hailed as a relief to people from all walks of life. The budget has considered the needs of all sections of society, and the reduction in customs duty on mobile phones and gold is expected to bring joy to many.
Citizens of Dabra city shared their views on the budget with Patrika, and while some appreciated the budget, others felt that it did not do enough to address the issue of rising prices.
A Step Towards a Developed India
According to Bhánu Jaina, a businessman, the budget is a significant step towards a developed India. "The budget has taken care of all sections of society, including farmers, the poor, and women. It is a balanced budget that will benefit everyone," he said.
Shubham Jha, a student, felt that the budget was focused on the development of the country, but did not do enough to address the issue of rising prices. "The budget is a step towards a developed India, but it has not done enough to control prices," he said.
A Balanced Budget
Suneel Gupta, a contractor, appreciated the budget, saying that it was balanced and would benefit everyone. "There are no new taxes or changes in tax slabs, which is a relief. The budget is focused on the development of the country," he said.
Santosh Shivhare, a social worker, felt that the budget had not done enough to address the issue of employment. "The budget has focused on the construction of roads, which is a good thing. However, it has not done enough to address the issue of employment," he said.
Mobile and Gold Prices Slashed
Sandip Kuchia, a businessman, appreciated the reduction in prices of mobile phones and gold. "The reduction in prices of mobile phones and gold will benefit the common man. However, the budget has not done enough to control prices," he said.
Kamal Kishore Jha, an advocate, felt that the budget was not focused on development. "The budget is just a formality. The reduction in prices of mobile phones is not enough to benefit the common man. The budget has not done enough to control prices," he said.

Bobby Khard, a businessman, appreciated the budget, saying that it was focused on the development of the country. "The budget has taken care of all sections of society, including farmers, the poor, and women. It is a balanced budget that will benefit everyone," he said.
Archna Bansal, a social worker, felt that the budget had not done enough to address the issue of rising prices. "The budget has not done enough to control prices. The common man is suffering due to rising prices," she said.
Sujit Agrawal, a social worker, appreciated the reduction in the price of gold. "The reduction in prices of gold will benefit the common man. The budget is balanced and has taken care of all sections of society," he said.
Expert Opinion
According to Sanjeev Jain, a tax consultant, the budget has introduced new provisions to promote MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). "The budget has increased the loan limit for MSMEs from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. There are also new tax slabs, with no tax on income up to Rs 3 lakh. Women and girls will also benefit from new schemes introduced in the budget," he said.
