Rise in fever, stomach pain, and diarrhoea cases

Kota: The changing weather has led to an increase in seasonal diseases in the region, with the number of patients rising by one and a half times. The hospitals are overcrowded, with long queues of patients waiting to be treated. The number of patients admitted to the wards has also increased.

Doctors say that the changing weather is the main reason for the increase in diseases. The sudden change in temperature and humidity has led to a rise in fever, stomach pain, and diarrhoea cases. Children, in particular, are falling prey to these diseases.

The health department has sounded an alert and is taking necessary precautions to tackle the situation. Doctors are advising people to take precautions to avoid getting infected.

Avoid contaminated  water

Dr Iqbal Khan, a private doctor, advises people to avoid drinking contaminated water. He suggests boiling water before drinking it to avoid water-borne diseases. The dirty water supplied through pipes is causing health problems for people.

Over 6,800 patients treated

Dr Rohitash said that the sudden change in weather since the last week of July has led to a rise in diseases. The number of patients visiting the hospital has increased by one and a half times. In the last eight days, over 6,847 patients have been treated at the hospital's OPD. The number of patients is increasing every day.

The doctors are advising people to take precautions to avoid getting infected and to seek medical attention immediately if they show any symptoms of illness.
