Jodhpur: Students from various schools in Jodhpur have brought laurels to their institutions by winning medals in different sports events.

Drishti Panwar Wins Bronze Medal in Boxing


Drishti Panwar, a student of Lucky Bal Niketan Senior Secondary School, Sojati Gate, has won a bronze medal in the 68th district-level boxing competition in the 17-19 years age group and 42-44 kg weight category. She has made her school and district proud with her achievements.

Khushwant Singh Chauhan and Bhavya Sharma Win Gold Medals

Khushwant Singh Chauhan and Bhavya Sharma, students of Arabic Pathshala, Rameshwar Nagar, have won gold medals in the 60-64 kg and 80 kg weight categories respectively in the district-level boxing competition. They have brought glory to their school with their achievement.

Indigo Public School Students Selected for State-Level Basketball Competition

The 68th district-level basketball competition for girls in the 17-19 years age group was organized at Indigo Public School, Sector 25, Choupanasi Housing Board. The school's team has been selected for the state-level competition after defeating Mayur Choupanasi and St. Patrick's teams. The chief guest, Om Singh Rajpurohit, Dr. Sunita Pankaj, school chairman N.D. Nimbawat, secretary Divakar Valabh Dave, and managing director Sudarshan Arora awarded medals to the winning teams and congratulated the students.

Mount Carmel School Students Win District-Level Table Tennis Competition

The 68th district-level table tennis competition for boys and girls in the 14-year-old age group was organized at Mount Carmel School, Digga Kalla. Yash Thanvi of Lucky Bal Niketan School won the singles event, while Aditi of Brigadier Jabbar Singh School won the girls' singles event. The teams from Lucky Bal Niketan School and Brigadier Jabbar Singh School won the team events. The winning teams were awarded medals by school director Punaram Chaudhary, principal Sulekha Shekhawat, Dinesh Bharti, Sanjay Parmar, Madhu Shekhar, and Payal.

Ten Students of Mahesh Public School Selected for State-Level Competitions

Ten students of Mahesh Public School have won gold medals in different sports events and have been selected for state-level competitions. Maulisha Thanvi and Divyanshu Rajpurohit won gold medals in table tennis, Piush Charan and Suresh Kumar won gold medals in chess, Manish Kumawat won a gold medal in karate, Ishit Kaur won a gold medal in taekwondo, Ahmar Karim won a gold medal in judo, Lov Sankhla won a gold medal in wushu, Suresh Poonia won a gold medal in cycling, and Khushil Singh won a gold medal in boxing. School chairman Kailash Modi congratulated the selected students and wished them a bright future. Principal Punita Bohra advised the students to strive for excellence.
