Jaipur: Women Shine at Digambar Jain Mahasamiti's Sawan Festival

Jaipur: The Digambar Jain Mahasamiti's Sawan Festival was organised at the Mahavir Jain Temple in Deoli, where Chaman Jain and Sonam Jain were crowned winners in the senior and junior categories, respectively.

The event, presided over by Vineta Badjatya, saw a grand inauguration by former Municipal Chairman Manju Jain, Vimala Jain, and Lata Gangwal, who lit the lamp to mark the beginning of the festival. The festival also featured various competitions, with the main attraction being the Sawan Sundari competition.


In the senior category, Chaman Jain was declared the winner, while Sonam Jain emerged victorious in the junior category. The judges for the senior category included Manali Gupta, Bhavna Ajmera, and Pooja Badjatya, while Usha Jindal, Vimala Kochar, and Mona Bilala judged the junior category.

Archana Jain was awarded the title of Selfie Queen, and Khushboo Jain won the Lucky Draw. The event also featured a plantation drive, where all the participants were given a sapling as a gift.

The festival was attended by around 150 women, including Nirmala, Anshu, Kalpana, Manisha, Rekha, Yojana, Maya Ajmera, Rajkumari, and Apara. The event was successfully conducted by Ranjana Jain and Mona Patni.

In her address, Vineta Badjatya thanked everyone for their participation and encouraged them to work together for the betterment of society.
