Ajmer (Rajasthan): Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers' social status has increased, and they have also become economically empowered. If farmers receive seeds and genuine fertilizers on time, they can reap the full benefits of their harvest. Over 30 lakh farmers in the state have benefited from the Samman Nidhi scheme, which has instilled a sense of self-reliance among them.

During a discussion with farmers at the National Seed and Spice Research Centre's Tabiji Farm, they shared their views frankly. Farmers are waiting for rainfall to begin sowing their crops. While most farmers receive government assistance, some may remain unaware of the benefits due to a lack of information, which must be addressed.
