Kota (Rajasthan): In Kota, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest demanding a re-conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam. Kota District Vice President Rajendra Meena stated that the NEET scam has ruined the future of lakhs of students. The party vowed to fight for justice for the students, from the streets to the Parliament.
According to Jugal Parihar, District Secretary, cases of paper leaks have emerged in Bihar and Gujarat, but the central government has remained silent. Instead, it has attempted to cover up the irregularities. The AAP demanded an independent inquiry into the matter, to be monitored by the Supreme Court.
After the protest, the AAP leaders submitted a memorandum to the District Collector.
