Hindu Rashtra Jagriti Andolan organised protest at Freedom Park

Bengaluru: The Hindu Rashtra Jagriti Andolan organized a protest at Freedom Park on Sunday, demanding action against those responsible for mixing animal fat in the ghee used in the Prasad at Tirupati Balaji Temple. Various organizations participated in the protest, condemning the act as an attack on the Hindu religious faith.

Santosh Kenchamba, the founder of Rashtradharma Sangathan, said that adulterating Prasad with animal fat is not only a form of cheating but also a deliberate attack on Hindu religious sentiments. He termed it a breach of trust and a conspiracy against Hindus.

Sharat Kumar, Bengaluru district coordinator of Hindu Jan Jagriti Samiti, demanded that the culprits be booked for hurting religious sentiments and arrested immediately. He also sought an investigation into all decisions related to Tirupati Temple during the tenure of Jagannath Reddy and his father Rajashekhar Reddy's government.

The protest was attended by Dr. Mahesh Kumar B.N, Secretary of Rashtriya Asangathit Purohit Karmik Parishad, Gajendra Singh, President of Azad Brigade, Suresh Gouda, Vice-President of Rashtriya Hindu Parishad, Hindu leader Venkataswami Reddy, Jyoti Gouda, and others.
