It must be a proud moment for India as Asian Games gold-medallist Hima Das has been appointed as first youth brand ambassador of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) India.

Hima Das is extremely happy and said that she is honoured to chosen for the role. She also added that will hope to inspire more children to follow their dreams.

This Assamese girl had clinched a gold medal in Women’s 4 x 400 m Relay event at the 2018 Asian Games.
Das had also won a silver medal in Women’s 400 m race event, which she completed in 50.59 seconds.
