Kobe Bryant death in copter crash: From Priyanka Chopra to Kim Kardashian, celebs post condolences
Shocking news has come to light this morning from California where an NBA legend Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, and seven others were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
The incident took place on a steep hillside in the dense morning fog in Southern California.
Bryant, 41, was travelling in a private helicopter when it came down and burst into flames, BBC reports said.
According to the reports of The Associated Press, the chopper went down in Calabasas, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) northwest of downtown Los Angeles. As per authorities, there were nine people on board the helicopter and presumed dead.
Bryant is one of the best players who spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers and also a five-time NBA champion.
In the accident, Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna was also killed.

The NBA also issued a statement on the death of Bryant and for his young daughter that "devastated by the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna" aged 13.
"For 20 seasons, Kobe showed us what is possible when remarkable talent blends with an absolute devotion to winning," the NBA statement reads.
