With Bhaagamathie, Anushka Shetty emerges the second Indian actress after Sridevi to set this unique record

Telugu superstar Anushka Shetty's recent release Bhaagamathie is continuing its fabulous run at the Box Office worldwide. The thriller-drama directed by G Ashok and bankrolled by UV Creations marks the return of Anushka Shetty after the all time Indian blockbuster Baahubali 2.

Catch had previously reported that Bhaagamathie had grossed nearly Rs. 2 crore on its opening day from the cinemas across the USA alone.

And now, the Anushka Shetty starrer has crossed the coveted $ 1 Million mark at the USA Box Office. It's a remarkable feat considering that except for Sridevi's 2012 hit English Vinglish, none of the heroine oriented films have managed to open the $ 1 Million in the US markets. Bhaagamathie also marked the debut $ 1 Million club for Anushka Shetty in a titular role. And with Bhaagamathie, Anushka Shetty emerges the second Indian actress after Sridevi to have a $ 1 Million grosser at the USA Box Office.
