UAE Box Office: Unni Mukundan, Pulimurugan makers' runaway hit IRA to release tomorrow

Malayalam youth icon Unni Mukundan's Ira is all set to have it's UAE theatrical release tomorrow. The film with a tagline 'story of an accused’, tipped to be a crime thriller marks the directorial debut of Saiju SS, a former associate of director Vysakh of Mohanlal blockbuster Pulimurugan fame. Ira also marks the maiden production venture of Vysakh and writer Udhayakrishna, Vysakh Udhayakrishna Productions. The film also stars Gokul Suresh, Miya George, Niranjana Anoop, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Srikanth Murali and Alencier Ley Lopez.

Generally, Malayalam films take four weeks to one month time for its overseas release, but in the case of the Unni Mukundan starrer, the film is releasing one week post its India theatrical release. Popular UAE distribution company, Phars Films who bought the distribution rights took to their Facebook page to reveal the update. The makers also revealed that Ira will have it's UAE release in a good number of 44 screens across the country.

Meanwhile, Ira is nearing it's one wee theatrical release at the Kerala Box Office. The investigation thriller has been praised for it's gripping story, first rate performances from the lead cast, especially Unni Mukundan, who's said to be given one of his career-best performance in Ira. Gokul Suresh too who's reportedly equally good in the film. However, the main USP of the film is said to be it's climax, which is touted as one of the best climax witnessed in recent Malayalam films. Thanks to it's good opening weekend and the steady collections in the weekdays, Ira already turned out to be a runaway hit at the Box Office.
